Pre-Production: 60%
It all starts with research.
About sixty percent of our time on a project takes place during this planning stage. Every television show or film you've ever seen has months or possibly years of development behind it. During pre-production, we learn all we can about a subject in the time we have allotted and we translate that into visual communication. We meet with our clients and imagine ourselves as their target audience. We develop scripts, storyboards, shooting schedules and even editing schedules. We do all this to save time, money, and hassle for our clients and for ourselves.

Production: 10%
This is the part everyone knows about, or thinks they know about.
The actual filming of a project gets the most attention because it's sexy. But it can also be a very strenuous and challenging process. Luckily for us, production is only about ten percent of the process. Luckily for you, our team has this down to a science. Seeing the footage at the end of a long shooting day is one of the most satisfying parts of this job.

Post-Production: 30%
It's more than just editing.
Post-production is a catch-all step that includes everything that happens after footage is captured including editing, polishing, and delivery. If a project needs animation, it gets put in at this stage (but it has to be started at the pre-production stage!) In post, we create the final vision of the film and bring that to broadcast, DVD, Blu-ray disc, web streamed video and a variety of other formats.
